Chef Mason Green
Certified Raw Food Chef and Educator
Cary Stratton, aka Chef Mason Green, is a Certified Gourmet Raw Food Chef and Educator under Cherie Soria at Light Culinary Institute. Mason is also trained in wild food gathering in the Western Hemisphere and addiction recovery through nutrition. He teaches about “Illuminati Health” through the pyramid of mental, physical and spiritual wellness: BE the eye of God at the heart of the triangle of the IRIS.
Like fellow Raw Food educator, David Wolfe, Chef Mason has been playing drums for most of his life. He is retired from the movie sound business after working on films such as Saving Private Ryan, the Big Lebowsky, Austin Powers and Titanic! He has provided private chef-ing, catering and food styling for TV shows such as Glee and Community. His recipes have been featured in CA Modern Magazine and the Raw Food Recipe Book, Eat Like Eve. Chef Mason has 20 years informal experience in recovery-oriented programs that deal with interpersonal relationships and communication. He helps his clients overcome addiction through a plant-based “Recovery Diet.” He has been a plant-based veg*n since 1992 and primarily a raw foodie since 2004. He has been successfully married to his wife, Anand, since 1989.
